We are Fool’s Theory, a company from Bielsko-Biała in Poland, creators of the game “Seven: The Days Long Gone”. Now that The Witcher Remake is in development, we are actively seeking skilled individuals to join our team for this project, developed in cooperation with CD PROJEKT RED studio. Mentoring and feedbacking the Animation team.
Closely cooperating with Art and Creative Directors in order to ensure high quality animations in line with project requirements,
Creating character rigs,
Creating character animations, both humanoid and other,
Cleaning/fixing motion capture animations,
Implementing created assets into Unreal Engine 5,
Performing iterative work on created animations, in order to improve their quality,
Cooperating with the design team, 3D character team and other animators,
Maintaining animation pipeline,
Researching new technical solutions.
At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar position.
Very good familiarity with animation software (Maya/Blender/Motion Builder),
Good sense of characters, anatomy, movement dynamics, forces and masses,
Ability to work with motion capture assets
Familiarity with Unreal Engine 5,
Keeping up with technological nuances in the field of animation,
Ability to create neat animations assets that are consistent with the artistic vision and quality of the project,
Ability to clearly convey constructive feedback,
Good communication skills and eager to work in group,
Ability to solve problems.
NICE TO HAVE
Previous experience as a Lead Animator,
Previous experience working on an AA or AAA title,
Ability to set up physical simulations, e.g. cloths,
Ability to independently plan your own work on created objects and search for references,
A key role in the process of developing current and future projects,
