We are Fool’s Theory, a company from Bielsko-Biała in Poland, creators of the game Seven: The Days Long Gone and The Thaumaturge.
We are actively seeking skilled individuals to join our team to work on a project developed in cooperation with CD PROJEKT RED.

Responsibilities

• Prototyping systems creating gameplay loops.
• Creating combat systems, trade, equipment, AI trees,
• Creating transparent and efficient logic in blueprints,
• Designing and implementing NPC characters’ skills in the game based on the ability system,
• Working on maintaining balance,
• Cooperating with our Quest Design department in order to support the game's narrative by mechanics,
• Cooperating with our Art departments.

Requirements

• Previous experience in designing cRPG (systems, combat, monsters).
• Previous experience in the gaming industry (at least 4 years).
• Ability to take responsibility for task delivery including cross-departmental. collaboration and coordination.
• Experience working on RPG games (AAA preferred).
• Ability to share acquired knowledge in a team.
• Ability to clearly convey constructive feedback.

Nice to have:

• Experience in running RPG sessions,
• Previous participation in game jams.
